Free Membership

Membership to the CBE is always free. In return for for displaying banners on your site, you'll earn "credits", and those credits will be used to display your banner on other sites. You do not need any money to participate. If you would like to purchase additional credits you can, but it is not required.

Banner Sizes

Our banner software allows a user to set up a free account. With that account, they can display an industry standard banner size of 468 x 60 pixels.

Banner Types Allowed

Banners used in our exchange network must be in .gif format, with a maximum file size of 12k, this will provide for a rich media banner and fast display in most web sites and slow connection speeds. Uploading your banner is easy, you'll be able to upload your banner right from your account administration area using your browser. Banners in other sizes and graphics formats may soon be available.

Credits

We give all new users 1,000 credits to start with. This will help you get free advertising while you wait for your site to earn credits. You'll earn 1 credit for every 2 banners you show on your site. Also, you'll earn 10 credits every time someone clicks on a banner from your site. It's a good idea to place banners in good positions on your site so you can earn as many credits as possible.

We also have a referral program that give you extra credits for telling people about the CBE. If someone joins the CBE from your site, you'll get a free credit for every 10 banners they display. There is no limit to the number of credits you can receive!
