Topic: HTML Code

How do I add the HTML code to my web site?
First, inside the member's section go to the drop-down and choose "Get HTML Code." This is where you'll be able to get the code for your web page. Three boxes with HTML code will be displayed. The top box contains the HTML code that you will need to insert into your web page. Be sure to highlight all the text and cut and paste the text
into the HTML code on your site page using a program like Front Page or Dreamweaver, or you can even use Notepad.

Optional HTML Codes:
The middle box contains the HTML code to use if you would like to place a counter in your web page and the last box contains the code to place into your page so your visitors can subscribe to your mailling list. Both these options are free to members of CBE, further information about these options may be found here.

Do I need to go through that "Get HTML" code process for each new page?
Not at all. You may use the same code throught your web pages.

Can I display more than one banner on my page?
We ask that you only put one banner on each page of your web site. However, to increase your credits and banner exposure in other member web sites you should place the code in as many pages as possible.

Where should I put the HTML code on my page?
You'll want to put it at the top or bottom of the page. You can put it at the bottom, but realize that you do not earn a credit until the banner is displayed. Putting the banner at the top of the page makes it more likely that you'll earn credits for displaying banners.
